In February 2012, God asked Robert Holmes and I to make a few videos and to put these videos onto Youtube. He prompted us to arrange a variety of topics, covering some of the prophecies that we have received over the past 12 years. Alexander the Great conquering the USA

The video addresses a prophetic word given to Rob on 16th October, 2008 that God would send Alexander the Great into USA.  “Alexander took Babylon without bloodshed” was the sentence he heard, followed by a vision of a man with coloured skin standing in the middle of USA in the midst of a large crowd. The man seemed to have conquered USA without having to fight a war over it.

In 2009 God told Rob that Barack Obama is the man God appointed to conquer the USA. Robert was watching news on TV at the Canadian/US border, announcing Obama’s victory in his first presidential campaign. Obama was celebrating his election victory in Chicago with one of his arms in the air. God told Robert that the previous 16th October, 2008 vision referred to this scene - “Obama is God’s Alexander.”

I was curious about what God meant and I did some research on ‘Alexander the Great.’ I studied whatever I could get on the Internet, and as a result became totally confused. I was not able to make any connection between the ancient Persian Empire and the modern day USA. In those days I was moderating the Storm Harvest Prophetic List on the Internet. I published these prophecies on the Internet and I still remember that I made the mistake of misspelling the word ‘Alexander’ as ‘Alexandria’. I suspect that I was confused by the fact that Alexander had created the city of Alexandria in 331 in Egypt. I remember receiving some very unfriendly emails, saying things similar to, ‘How dare you think you can hear from God when you cannot even spell correctly.’ In any case, these Obama/Alexander prophecies did not make much sense to me and I stopped thinking about them.

“We’ve Got More Work to Do”

On 17th September 2011, while Robert and I were praying, I asked God who would win the November 2012 election in the USA.  I asked God, “What about Barak Obama? Is his job done yet?” After all, he got elected and he’s God’s appointment so… What I actually meant (by asking this question) was: “Has Obama done his job? It seems like Alexander overtook Babylon, bringing it into his Persian empire … he wrecked it… so has Obama wrecked America enough yet? (which is actually something God implied back in 2009). If he has not completed his work then you would make sure that he is re-elected in the coming election. Is my guess correct?”

God’s answer was, “Go and see what Alexander did in and to Babylon after he conquered it. You will find, among other things, that he turned it into his home base. From there he went forth to conquer. Go look at the history.” I was slightly disappointed by this answer. Will Obama win the coming election? Has his “work” been completed? Instead, God gave us more homework to do. I tried to look at more history by doing some Google searches on Alexander and Babylon. But again, I just got more confused. I could not make any sense of what God was referring to.

Then on 18th March 2012, while Robert and I were praying, we asked God again who would win the November 2012 election in the USA. This time God answered the second question that I asked him on 17th September 2011. God said, "Obama's work is not yet finished." By referencing all the previous prophecies, I could deduce that Obama has not finished bringing down the Empire. God has more work for Obama to do as president. Both Robert and I were confident that God was telling us that Obama would be re-elected, and in May 2012 we posted the video “Obama to be re-elected?”on Youtube.

Some time ago I received the November 19, 2012 issue of the Time Magazine. On the cover it showed what Obama said in Chicago on 7th November 2012. Obama said “We’ve Got More Work to Do.” The message on the cover of the magazine interested me. It brought back memory to me of the question that I asked God in September 2011. Time Magazine agreed exactly with what God had told us.

What is the meaning of “Barack Obama being God’s Alexander”?

Now that the election is over and that the ‘Obama would be re-elected’ prophecy has come true, I still have a question in my head – what exactly does it mean? What did Alexander do to Babylon that Obama is going to do, or has been doing, to the USA? On 23rd November 2012, I met with Robert for prayer and I discussed these issues with him. Afterwards we prayed and asked God to give us the interpretations of the Alexander/Obama prophecies. The following was what we received… the interpretations of the Obama prophecies are as follows:
1. Babylon was the world's largest and most powerful empire. The United States is the same.
2. Alexander the Great was an enigmatic leader from the outside. So is Obama. They are both “dark skinned.”
3. Alexander defeated Babylon without bloodshed. Obama won the election without bloodshed.
4. Alexander turned off the river and stood in the middle of Babylon. Obama stood in Chicago, which is sort of near the middle of the USA.
5. Once it was brought to its knees, Babylon was ended and split up among several of Alexander’s generals. So will the United States. The USA Empire is over.
6. Babylon rusted and decayed after Alexander’s reign. So will America after Obama’s presidency.

The End of Empire America

Most empires throughout history rise and became prosperous, then the societies became corrupted and immoral, and then the empires collapse.  Since 2000 God has been showing our team at Storm Harvest that the Empire of the United States is going to end. (Getting people to even see that America behaved exactly like an Empire was quite a battle). The following paragraph is extracted from the article “The End of Empire America” by Robert Holmes:

“Standing in Upstate New York in 2000, I had a conversation with the Lord which I shall never forget. The Lord asked me “How long does an empire last?” to which I asked, “Am I standing in an empire?” [It did not occur to me that I was standing in the Empire State!]  Rather than answering me directly, He said, “All empires come to an end”. I pondered this for a moment. What empire? Was this country coming to an end? Then He asked a third question: “How do people position themselves as an empire nears its eventual end?” The implications of his line of thought were clear. America had become an empire, had influenced the world, but was now nearing the end of her reign as a sovereign super power. God wanted his people to know, their day in the sun is ending; the sunset is coming. When will The Empire America end?

There are two prophecies related to Alexander/Obama which have not yet come to pass:
- The mighty empire of the United States of America is over.
- The United States of America will rust and decay.

Obama is a sign from God

Just like Alexander the Great was the last ruler of the once mighty Babylon, Barak Obama marks the last years of the mighty and world leading days of the United States of America.

Alexander’s rule over Babylon marked a turning point. Before Alexander, Babylon was still appearing to be a mighty world power. After Alexander’s death, Babylon was divided, and fell into obscurity.

God seems to be telling us that Obama’s presidency marks the turning point of USA. USA will be turning from a world power into a normal country, similar to what happened to the once mighty British Empire.

Let me finish with something we felt like God impressed us with on December 11, 2012. We were troubled by news that Washington State had just legalised same sex marriage, and the use of cannabis. “You can expect moral decline, city by city and state by state: bankruptcy both financial and moral. This is the end of Empire.” Let us be alert and watch what will be happening in the next four years.
