Introduction
We began to publish elements of this word in September 2009. A number of items here have already come to pass or been confirmed in the media, and where this has occurred we have provided a link to that. This is technically not “a word for 2010” but rather a word for the season ahead. Some of it came in 2009, some in 2010 and some beyond. As with all prophecy, we invite you to weight, test and respond to it. Such information is usually not given for academic reasons, but rather to inspire us to act in one way or another.
Synopsis
* The global economic crisis is not over - and the market is headed for a significant crash again. There will be a number of factors involved (interest rates will fall, average house prices will fall, gold prices will rise);
* The El Nino effect will return to Australia (we are due for a La Nina season). We are in for a very bad fire season, drought conditions will continue in much of Eastern Australia;
* The world is headed for a ten to twenty year period of global cooling off (measured global air temperatures are dropping, ice caps will refreeze) (1);
* There will be all sorts of ecological strangeness (tornadoes going far north, cyclones coming far south, whale population increasing, lizard populations dropping);
* The scientists at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) will not find what they are looking for, but will find other things they were not looking for which will change theories;
* Police will crack down on “sexting” and a major porn ring will be busted.
1. The recession is not over
On October 21, 2008 the Lord said to me (of the global economic crisis):“It will be a dead cat bounce,” meaning it will go down fast, bounce back then fall again. In April 2009, after some growth had taken place, the Lord affirmed, “Don’t get too excited about the market news, it will crash again.” In September 2009, He commented on stock market prices (as measured by the Dow Jones), “It will be a W curve”. Though it will improve through to mid 2010, it will crash again under “the weight of debt”.
Gold prices. On the September 26, 2009 at a conference in Nelson Bay I said, “The gold price will shortly $1,200 during a time of economic instability…in fact it will go to $1,500, but the price will fluctuate more and more violently.” (2)
Interest rates. There is a general consensus among the Australian prophets I associate with, that interest rates may rise one or two more times, but will fall again when the stock market crashes and property prices fall.
Property prices. As an average, across the board, housing prices will fall 40% from October 2008 values (they fell 30% but have risen 8% since). There will of course still be pockets of static or rising stock and house prices.
2. Ecological issues
During prayer on September 18, 2009 the Lord said to me, “You will see fifteen to twenty years of global cooling. All of this will baffle scientists.”
* The polar ice caps and many glaciers will refreeze;
* Our computer models are not coping with and did not predict the changes;
* These changes will set in motion all kinds of other changes.
Then I had a vision of a graph indicating a reversing of the Southern Oscillation Index (SOI), the major predictor for Australian weather patterns. We were due for a La Nina pattern (according to long term patterns) but the graph I saw showed El Nino returning. As a result:
* The drought will harden over two years (though we will have unusual interludes of rain);
* The wheat yield will remain comparatively lower, though prices will be good;
* The 2009/2010 fire seasons will be fierce.
Other ecological strangeness will occur:
* The populations of Southern Right, Blue and Hump Back whales are and will all increase. The populations of certain lizards, reptiles and frogs in the tropics (especially the Americas) are and will continue to decrease.
* Tropical cyclones will come far south (e.g. Sydney) – I spoke of this in February 1995.
* Tornadoes will go far north (e.g. Edmonton Canada) they have already reached Toronto (August 26, 2009) – I spoke of this in September 2005
* There will be a season of strong electro-magnetic fluctuations (coinciding with solar flare activity). (3)
3. Making the wise seem foolish
“For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, ‘He catches the wise in their craftiness,’ ” (1 Corinthians 3:19).
Scientists, utilising the present understanding of gravity, quantum mechanics and the time/space continuum, have tried to get a handle on the observed behaviour of galaxies. There are natural laws, particularly as they relate to galactic bodies (e.g. the movement of the outer arms) which require a much larger level of mass to the observable universe. In an attempt to explain such behaviour (and other anomalies) fifteen nations have commissioned the Large Hadron Collider. This machine will smash proton streams, to find the elusive “God particle” or Higgs-Boson. They are also searching for so-called “dark matter” and dark field energy.
During prayer on August 20, 2009 the Lord said to me, “They will not find what they are looking for at the Large Hadron Collider. This will disappoint many scientists... but they will also discover new things they were not looking for. New theories will be developed as a result.”
4. Other issues
In December 2008 I said, “The Middle East [implying Iran] will soon see a conflagration – brighter than the sun, enter the theatre of war. This whispers to me of nuclear weapons.” To date the only additional conflict in the Middle East has been the invasion of a portion of Saudi Arabia by Yemen. (4)
Next year (2010) we will see much stronger mention of and crack down on teen “sexting” (the practice of using mobile phone mms technology to send lewd and often illegal sexual images and content).
We will once again see a major child porn ring busted in Australia/Thailand/Europe.
